Every Little Bit Helps

If you can give in any way (money, supplies, volunteering), please do so. Hurricane recovery and relief doesn't fix everything overnight. The destruction that occurred in my hometown last year with Hurricane Charley was not nearly as devastating as Hurricane Katrina, but hundreds (if not thousands) of people are still in what they call FEMA trailers or temporary housing while their new FEMA houses are being built. Many homes still have blue tarps on their roofs signifying that the construction has not started or has not been completed on their damaged roofs. It has been just over a year since Hurricane Charley hit, so if that's where we are in a years time you can see why every little bit helps and that this isn't going to go away any time soon.
Both the picture above and the picture on the side bar will take you directly to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief 2005 Donation page.
